在英語中,方位介詞通常與后面的名詞或代詞構(gòu)成介賓短語表示位置關(guān)系。本模塊常用的方位介詞或介詞短語:
1.on the right/left of...“在……的左邊/右邊”。例如:
Thebankisontherightofthestreet.銀行在街道的右邊。
2.next to...“與……緊挨著”。例如:
Thebookshopisnexttothepostoffice.書店在郵局的隔壁。
3.opposite “在……對(duì)面”。例如:
Thesupermarketisop

4.on the corner of “在……的拐角處”。例如:
Thereisabookstoreonthecornerofthisroad.書店在這條路的拐角處。
5.between...and...“在……和……之間”。例如:
Thecinemaisbetweentherestaurantandthehotel.電影院在飯店和賓館的中間。
除此之外,還有一些其他表示方位的介詞短語,如at the end of...“在……盡頭”,behind the door“在門后”,under the bed“在床下”,near the

問路與指路
1.問路用語:
(1)Excuse me,where’s the bank?打擾一下,請(qǐng)問銀行在哪里?
(2)How can I get there?我怎么樣到達(dá)那里?
(3)Could you tell me the way to the hospital?你能告訴我去醫(yī)院的路嗎?
(4)Do you know the way to the post office?您知道去郵局的路嗎?
