1、 Unit 6 Disaster and hope Period 2 Using languages (Grammar & Vocabulary& Listening) 教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì) In this period, the grammar item focuses on ellipsis, which is a grammatical rhetoric device to avoid repetition to highlight new information and to make the context closely connected. The students are e

2、xpected to master what it covers and how it is used in real contexts through reading two passages, one of which is about the way of forest the weather, and the other about China’s rescue efforts in Nepal. The vocabulary section presents students with words related to natural disasters, and the stu

3、dents are asked to complete the reports with words describing natural disasters. Besides, The students will be offered a good opportunity to do listening training about weather reports. 1. Guide the students to recognize the usages of ellipsis and use it in real contexts. 2. Lead the students

4、 to collect words about natural disasters and talk about the sides effects on human beings so as to raise people’s environmental protection . 3. Help the students to develop their ability to understand the weather reports and describe different weather conditions. 1. Help the students to under
