Lesson 29: Our Ambitions and Dreams
一.教材分析:
1. 單元及課文分析
This unit will focus on discussing the students’ futures. Students will begin to explore their likes, dislikes, strengths and weaknesses in terms of future careers. They will begin to form ideas
2、and opinions about their futures and what they hope to accomplish. They will learn about different professions, job options and identify what their goals are for the future and what steps they will need to take to achieve those goals.
2.教學(xué)目標(biāo)
語(yǔ)言技能:掌握描述理想的詞匯與語(yǔ)句,并就自己的理想進(jìn)行簡(jiǎn)單介紹。
掌握詞匯:fisherman, pol
3、iceman, artist, choice, strict, punish
接觸詞匯:ambition, path
短語(yǔ)和句型:She is very strict but nice.
情感態(tài)度:
通過(guò)對(duì)課文的學(xué)習(xí)使孩子們樹(shù)立遠(yuǎn)大理想,認(rèn)識(shí)到立足現(xiàn)在才會(huì)有美好的未來(lái)。
3.教學(xué)重點(diǎn):了解不同人的理想,并利用閱讀后所獲取的信息來(lái)進(jìn)行寫(xiě)作。
教學(xué)難點(diǎn):根據(jù)所學(xué)知識(shí),準(zhǔn)確恰當(dāng)?shù)赜糜⒄Z(yǔ)描述自己的理想。
4.學(xué)習(xí)策略:鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生通過(guò)觀察、模仿、體驗(yàn)、探究、展示等方式學(xué)習(xí)與合作學(xué)習(xí)。

I. Describe a photo(About 2 minutes)
Show a photo of David and try to describe it.
【設(shè)計(jì)思路:通過(guò)對(duì)圖片的描述,讓學(xué)生初步了解關(guān)于理想的表達(dá)方式,并接觸本課詞匯。通過(guò)情境學(xué)習(xí)新詞,讓學(xué)生在語(yǔ)境中掌握知識(shí),便于學(xué)生識(shí)記?!?
II. Brainstorming (About 3 minutes)
Let the students write down phrases which they can think about the jobs below.

Step 2. Listen (About 5 minutes)

First please listen carefully and try to answer the questions.

Step 3. Read (About 10 minutes)
1) Read Lesson 29 silently and try to find out the answers to the questions.
