1、附錄四形容詞和副詞的比較等級,高考英語（江蘇專用）,一、形容詞比較級和最高級的構(gòu)成規(guī)則 (1)規(guī)則變化,注意 詞尾為“元音字母+y”時,y不變,直接加 -er或 -est。 greygreyergreyest 有少數(shù)幾個雙音節(jié)詞以及以 -er及 -le結(jié)尾的詞,可以有兩種比較級和最高級形式。 monmoner/more monmonest/most mon clevercleverer/more clevercleverest/most clever simplesimpler/more simplesimplest/most simple,在原級形容詞之前加less,least而構(gòu)成的比較級
2、與最高級稱為“較低級”與“最低級”形式。 kindless kindleast kind usefulless usefulleast useful 一些復(fù)合形容詞的比較等級。 well-knownbetter-knownbest-known 有些形容詞沒有程度可分或形容詞本身就表示某種程度,故沒有比較級和最高級。如:right正確的,wrong錯誤的,excellent 最好的,final最后的,last最后的,possible可能的,first第一的,east東方的,empty空的,wooden木制的,impossible不可能的。,(2)不規(guī)則變化,二、形容詞的比較等級 (一)平級比較的
3、句型 1.as+原級+as+被比較的對象,意為:和一樣。 He is as diligent as the monitor. 他和班長一樣勤奮。 2.not so/as+原級+as+被比較的對象,意為:不如。 Tom is not so busy as Dick.湯姆不如迪克忙。 (二)比較級的句型 1.主語+謂語+形容詞比較級+than+被比較的對象,意為:比更。 Do you know why winter is colder than summer? 你知道為什么冬天比夏天更冷嗎?,2.主語+謂語+the+形容詞比較級+of+...(兩者比較)。 He is the taller of
4、the two brothers. 他是兩兄弟中個頭較高的那個。 3.主語+謂語+no+形容詞比較級+than+被比較的對象,意為:和一樣不。 He is no more careful than you are. 他和你一樣不細(xì)心。 4.the+形容詞比較級...the+形容詞比較級...,意為:越就越。 The busier he is,the happier he is.他越忙就越快樂。 5.形容詞比較級+and+形容詞比較級/more and more+原級,意為:越來越。,Its being more and more difficult to find a job. 找工作越來越難
5、了。 6.其他形式的比較級句式: be senior to比年齡大 I am five years senior to Jane. =I am five years older than Jane. =I am older than Jane by five years. 我比簡大5歲。 be junior to比年輕 Jane is five years junior to me. =Jane is five years younger than me.,=Jane is younger than me by five years. 簡比我小5歲。 be superior to比好 This
6、 puter is superior to the one you bought. =This puter is better than the one you bought. 這臺電腦比你買的那臺要好。 be inferior to比差 This photo is inferior to that one. =This photo is worse than that one. 這張照片比那張差。,(三)最高級的句型 1.the+形容詞最高級(+名詞)+表示范圍的狀語。 She is the most active student in our class. 她是我們班最活躍的學(xué)生。 2.o
7、ne of+the+形容詞最高級+名詞復(fù)數(shù)。 Shanghai is one of the biggest cities in our country. =Shanghai is among the biggest cities in our country. 上海是我們國家最大的城市之一。 3.the+序數(shù)詞+形容詞最高級+名詞。 Africa is the second largest continent in the world. 非洲是世界第二大洲。,4.“否定詞+形容詞比較級”表示最高級的意思。 No one can be more careful than he is. 沒有人能比
8、他更細(xì)心了。 5.形容詞比較級+than any other+名詞單數(shù)。 He is busier than any other worker in his workshop. 他比車間里其他任何一個工人都忙。 (四)注意表示倍數(shù)的幾種句式 1....倍數(shù)+as+形容詞原級+as... 2....倍數(shù)+形容詞比較級+than... 3....倍數(shù)+the+size,length,etc.+of... 4.The+名詞+be+倍數(shù)+what從句,5.The+名詞+be+倍數(shù)+that/those of... Asia is four times as large as Europe.=Asia

Bill Gates started Microsoft, one of thebiggest(big)IT pa-nies in the world.,三、副詞的比較級和最高級的構(gòu)成規(guī)則 1.規(guī)則變化:與形容詞的比較級和最高級的構(gòu)成規(guī)則相同。 2.不規(guī)則變化,四、副詞比較等級的用法 副詞的原級、比較級及最高級的用法和結(jié)構(gòu)均與形容詞相對應(yīng)的用法和結(jié)構(gòu)一致。用法上,只需將相應(yīng)結(jié)構(gòu)中的形容詞換成副詞即可。 This kind of language appeared as early as the Stone Age. 這種語
