Enjoy and sing a song Auld lang syne Robert Burns (1759 1796) was a Scottish poet and a lyricist(詞作者詞作者). He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland, and is famous worldwide. He

5、 is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language. Robert Burns is regarded as a pioneer(先驅(qū)先驅(qū))of the Romantic movement. His influence has long been strong on Scottish literature. In 2009 he was voted by the Scottish public as being the Greatest Scot. As well as making original c

6、ompositions, Burns also collected folk songs from across Scotland, His poem Auld Lang Syne is often sung at the last day of the year.
