3、llow. And then choose the best answer. Step 3:Explain the important and difficult points 1. proud of =take pride in 以……為驕傲 區(qū)別比較: proud是形容詞性,pride是名詞性,be proud of和take pride in后面都可以加sth. 或doing sth.區(qū)別就是在be和take上,一個是用be動詞,一 個用的是動詞。 例:I‘m proud of helping others when they are in trouble. 我為

4、自己能在別人有困難時幫助他人而自豪。 I take pride in helping others when they are trouble. 我為自己能在別人有困難時幫助他人而自豪 2. Then they set off for home然后他們出發(fā)回家。 Set off 1)開始旅程 Set?off?for?Europe.?開始?xì)W洲之旅。 2)爆炸:引起爆炸 Set off a chemical reaction. 發(fā)生化學(xué)反應(yīng) 3)區(qū)分:指出不同;區(qū)分 Features sets him off from the croed.使他與人群分開的特

6、劃失敗了。 (3) set apart 1)留出,撥出:留出以備專用 You must set apart some money for the future. 你必須留出一些錢來以備將來之用。 2)使引人注目 (set apart from 從……中分離出來) Her high height sets her apart from her sisters.高高的個子使她在其姊妹中分外引人注目。 (4). set down 1). 坐:使坐;坐下 Set the baby down here. 讓小孩坐這兒。 2). 記錄:寫下;記錄 We

7、set down the facts. 我們記下事實。 3). 把……歸于:由……引起; Let‘s set the error down to inexperience. 讓我們把錯誤歸于沒有經(jīng)驗。 4). 著陸:(飛機)著陸 The plane set down on the airport.飛機在機場著陸。 (5). set up 1)直立:放于豎直位置 He set up the statue in the square.他把雕像豎立在廣場里 2)組裝:集合并裝配 Set up a new machine. 組裝一臺新機器 3). 建

10、功逃脫了 get away 離開,脫身;?逃掉;?抽身;?拔身;? 1) 走開,離開: 例句: She didn‘t get away until nine last night.昨晚九點她才離開。 2). 逃走,跑掉;逃離犯罪現(xiàn)場: 例句: I caught three mice,but one got away.我逮住了三只耗子,但有一只逃脫了。 3). 休假: 例句: I couldn‘t get away at all last year,I was too busy.去年我根本不能休假,我太忙了 6. I also learn from him that g

11、reat men never give up, no matter what difficulties they face. no matter與疑問詞who, what, where, when, how, if, whether等連用,意為“無論,不管”。如: 1) Don‘t open the door, no matter who comes. 不管誰來都別開門 2) Don‘t trust him, no matter what he says. 無論他說什么,都別相信他。 3) No matter where you work, you can always fi

12、nd time to study. 無論你在哪里工作,你都能找到時間學(xué)習(xí)。 Step 4:Grammar box: 狀語從句總結(jié) 1. 時間狀語從句 由as, after, as soon as, before, since, until , when ,whenever, while 等連詞來引導(dǎo) As he explored the sea, he took a lot of pictures. 他探海的時候拍了很多照片。 As soon as he arrivied in France, he called me. 他一到達(dá)法國就給我打了電話。 He has bee

13、n in Shanghai since he was born. 自他出生以來他就一直在上海。 Don’t come in until you are called. 除非你被叫到,否則不要進(jìn)來 。 Whenever we’re in trouble, he’ll help us. 無論何時只要我們有困難,他都會幫助我們。 While I was watching TV, the bell rang。 我正在看電視的時候,門鈴響了。 2. 原因狀語從句 常用引導(dǎo)詞: because, since, as I didn’t go surfing, because it was to

15、n. 坐在暗處,這樣的話不容易被發(fā)現(xiàn)。 4. 結(jié)果狀語從句 常用引導(dǎo)詞: so, so… that, such … that, He was so weak that he couldn’t walk on.他如此虛弱所以不能走路。 He got up so early that he caught the first bus.他起的如此早,這樣他就能趕上頭班車了。 It’s such a good chance that we must not miss it. 這是一個很好的機會我們不能錯過了。 5. 比較狀語從句 常用引導(dǎo)詞:as (so)…as , than 等引導(dǎo)
