2019-2020年九年級英語《Unit 8》教案 人教新目標版 教學目標: 1.知識目標: 詞匯: Key Vocabulary volunteer, work outside, cheer up, help sb., with sth., give out, clean up, in the hospital, e up with, put off, write down, hand out, call up. spend …doing, set up, each of, put off, cheer up 句型: Target Language: I’d like to work outside. You could help coach a football team. 2. 能力目標: 1)能運用所掌握的語法、句型和詞匯進行交流。 2)能運用語言和語法知識進行閱讀并理解文章意思。 3. 情感態(tài)度 如果學校開展志愿者活動,能積極參加,做一些力所能及的事情。 教學重點 1.Target language 2.The structure: 教學難點:The structure: 教學準備:tape recorder pictures 教學方法:情景操練,反復使用,師生互動,生生互動。 教學過程: 第一課時 Teaching of new lesson 1. 展示幾張需要幫助的人或事的圖片 (如:sick people, homeless children, dirty park, hunger) T: Do you like these picture. S: No, they make me sad. T: What can you see in the picture ? S: There are some people who need help. T: Can you tell me something about the picture ? S: The children are very poor, they don’t have money to go to school… 2. Presentation 教學What can you do to help sick people? I could visit them in the hospital. I’d like to buy them some flowers. I hope to cheer them up. Presentation and practice T: What can you do to help the people who need your help? For example: What can you do to help sick people? S:I could visit them in the hospital. S: I’d like to buy them some flowers. S: I hope to cheer them up. S: I volunteer to …… (讓學生給出不同的回答,強調I’d like to, hope to, volunteer to, could和其它動詞的搭配。) 3、教學 操練1a, 1c, 2c. 讓學生根據(jù)圖片內容對話,引出volunteer, work outside, cheer up, help sb. with sth., give out, clean up, in the hospital, 并用剛剛學到的目標句型操練。 4、教學1b, 2a, 2b 首先,幫助學生明確本題的要求。接著,聽力練習,學生根據(jù)錄音內容完成1b,2a and 2b。最后,重放一遍錄音內容,學生跟讀。 (學生通過聽力練習,進一步熟悉本課的目標語言) 5、Consolidation and Extension. 完成一個任務 假設你有一個朋友周末生日,他打算在家開個生日舞會。他現(xiàn)在有很多事情忙不過來,你能給他提供什么幫助? A: This weekend I’ll have a birthday party at my home, I have so many things to do, can you help me? B: Ok, I could …… A: I’d like to …… Homework 1、下周你們班將去老人院,去哪里什么可以做的,羅列4—5點 2、翻譯下列短語。 打掃 張貼 去醫(yī)院看望生病的小孩 在外面工作 提供幫助 推遲 分發(fā) 無家可歸的人 板書(略) 教學反思: 學生在討論提供幫助的方式時表述比較困難,可以借助圖片以及簡要短語提示,效果會更好一些。通過課件的的使用,大大提高了教學效率,學生也積極參加課堂活動。 第2課時 Teaching of new lesson 1. Ask the students to work in pairs using the target language. 1) A: Would you like to work outside? B: Yes, I’d like to help clean up the city parks. 2) A: Would you like to help homeless people? B: yes. I’d like to give out food at a food bank. 3) A: Would you like to cheer up sick kids? B: yes, I’d like to visit then in the hospital. 4) A: Would you like to help kids with their school work ? B: Yes. I’d like to volunteer in an after---school study program. 2、教學3a 1) 進入本課話題 T: There three special students in No.77 High School, do you want to know them? (展示書上圖片,讓學生自由提問,來激發(fā)他們對新加坡的興趣) S: Are they good ? What are they good at ? …… 2) 閱讀理解短文,設法找出學生提出的問題的答案。 T: Read the article and circle the things you like, and underline the things you don’t like. 當學生進行閱讀時,老師列出以下表達: spend…doing, set up, each of, put off, cheer up 3. 教學 操練3b Group work仿照書上的示范,用書上的提示讓他們集體討論解決方法。先由學生小組討論,由兩三組同學起來表演他們的對話。 4、Consolidation and Extension 完成一個任務:Group work: A survey T: Dear classmates, in your city there are many people who need our help. What are you good at? What can we do for them? Now please make a list of things that you like are you can do for them. Then ask your partner about his interests and things he could do, after that please make a report. 全班活動。利用課文4的表格,詢問同學的興趣愛好以及根據(jù)自己興趣愛好可以做哪些幫助人們的事。 Homework 漢譯英: 1、我自愿打電話通知朋友 2、你愿意去醫(yī)院看望小孩嗎? 3、我昨晚花了2小時做作業(yè) 4、我們不能再推遲會議了。 板書(略) 教學反思: Do some explanations. The teachers should ask the Ss to read aloud again and after class. And at the same time prepare for the new lesson. 第3課時 Teaching of new lesson 1. Warm – up. 展示圖片,讓學生用圖片上的內容及提示短語造句。 I’ve run out of money. I take after my mother. I fix up my bike. I gave away the books. 2. Presentation 教學1 在造句的基礎上,能進一步用英文解釋以上短語: run out of = don’t have any of fix up = repair take after = be similar to 教學2a, 2b. 1) 首先,聽力前的brainstorm. First, Let students describe the pictures of 2a. 2) T: Jimmy is a bike boy. If you want to know more about him, please listen to the tape carefully and check the questions customers ask then listen again, and fill in the blanks. 3) Check the answers 通過聽電話,學習辨別信息,選擇內容并完成填空,學生通過聽力練習,進一步熟悉本課的目標語言。最后,重放一遍錄音內容,學生跟讀。 4) 2c Pairwork 根據(jù)聽力的對話內容,首先理解對話,模仿對話。 5) 表演對話(Act out) 叫部分同學演示其對話內容。 3、教學閱讀3a T: Just now we knew something about Jimmy. But these he was unhappy, What wrong with him, Please read 3a, and find the reasons. T: If you understand the passage, please make a list of things that Jimmy did to solve his problem. (學生通過自己閱讀理解,在過程中加深印象,比老師直接說出答案要有效得多。) Explain their questions about the 3a Run out of, take after, fix up, give away, be similar to, try to do, call up, hand out, e up with Homework 1、想想你周圍哪些人需要你的幫助,你能夠為他們做什么,以此為題寫篇作文。 2、翻譯句子 1)我們需要提出一個計劃 2)我喜歡足球,所以我可以訓練一支球隊。 3)他給了很多錢去幫助無家可歸的小孩。 4)你可以幫我修自行車嗎? 板書(略) 教學反思: 根據(jù)課堂設計思路,引導學生去猜想。然后組織,補充一個完整的故事情節(jié)來推測后續(xù)發(fā)生的事情,極大地調動了學生的積極性,加深印象,增強記憶。 第4課時 Teaching of new lesson 1. Revision: Check homework T: Make a plan for helping out in your munity. Tell the whole class where you will help and what you will do. 讓兩三個同學口述自己的打算,將其要點歸納在黑板上。 For example: sing, hand out, put up…… 2. Ask the students to work in pairs using the following target language. A: I’d like to be a volunteer, but I’m not sure what I should do. B: What do you like doing ? A: I like…… B: Well, you could…… reading, help coach the students like pets, help working in an animal hospital singing, cheer the sick people up helping the hungry people, give out food. 3. Presentation 拓展性練習——寫、說(Writing and speaking practice) 將全班同學分成四組進行調查(利用4的表格) Self Check part 1. 填單詞并用這些詞造句。由學生完成練習,然后讓他們用這些單詞造句,如有錯誤,進行更正。 拓展單詞和詞組(exchange, need to, this time of year)運用它們進行造句) 3)Self Check part 2. a. Expressions: want to be, ask for, call up, be able to. b. Write an article about Sally in 2. 4) Just for Fun 由3名同學運用對話在課堂上表演內容 學生分析漫畫內容 Homework 1、根據(jù)課文“Just for Fun”,寫一篇作文。 2、選詞填空。 be afraid of, enjoy doing, be good for, in public, belong to, be proud of Eating fruit _______________________ your pimple. He used to __________________________ snakes She ________________________________ last night. This CD ____________________________ Mary. 3、漢譯英 我們的老師正在分發(fā)我們的試卷; 他很像他的媽媽 作為一名志愿者,他經(jīng)常幫助別人; 多么好的一個主意!誰想出來的? 你們不能再推遲制定計劃了。 你想要當一名志愿者嗎? 請立即寫下你的主意并把它交給你的老師 我們想要幫助清潔我們的校園。 板書(略) 教學反思: Reading and writing both need to be practiced. More consolations should be given after class. 第5課時 Step1. Revision Ask some questions about how the students help their family and friends to solve the life’s problems. 通過問題方式復習已學知識。 Step2. Presentation. ⅠBefore You Read 完成相應的任務,導入新課。 1.1a This activity makes students think about different types of letters that can be written : For example , notes ,informal letters to a friend ,business letters, invitations, etc. 2.1b Show students an article in an English newspaper or magazine, or ask students to look back at the article from Unit2, on Page16 then list three differences between a letter and an article. ⅡWhile You Read 獨立完成閱讀理解,回答相應的問題,培養(yǎng)學生自主探究的精神 Read the letter carefully and answer some questions: (1) What is “Animal Helpers” ? (2) What’s the Chinese meaning of the word“normal” in the passage ?____ A. 正規(guī)的 B. 日常的 C. 平時的 (3)Why the writer wants to write this article? (4)How did her friend help him out? (5)What’s the name of her dog? (6)How does lucky help her? (7)What will the writer send to Miss Li? Ⅲ.After You Read 閱讀文章后,完成相應的任務,加深對文章的整體印象。 1.3a Ask students to go through the letter and find one example of each part of speech, then check the answers. Ⅱ3b Ask students to go through the letter again , find three examples of phrasal verbs from the reading .Use them to make sentences of your own. Then check the answers. Ⅲ3c Ask students to scan the letter to create correct sentences. 寫一封回信,使學生熟悉書信格式,提高應用文寫作能力。 Ⅳ.Go For It. 1.Ask students to use the information on their book to write an individual letter to Liz. 2.Ask students to exchange notebooks with a partner and ask for help to make changes that they see as necessary. Step 3 Summary 板書(略) 教學反思: 通過閱讀教學發(fā)現(xiàn),學生對詞性的掌握不是很好。在今后的教學中應該適當?shù)募尤氡痉矫娴膬热?,給予補充和練習,使學生能更好的了解和掌握各種詞的基本用法。- 配套講稿:
