E.g. red, green, blue, white, brown, black, orange and so on. Students work in groups of four, one student choose anything such as fruits, plants and so on. Another student tell the colour. The same as the rest students Talk about the colours . To revise the colours students have learned. Step2 Leading in: 1. Show them some pictures about colors they have learned to review the expressions of different colors. 2. Free talk: After seeing some colors, talk about the colors they like best and explain the reasons. 3. Do you know what colors Eddies likes best? Talk about the colors they like best and explain the reasons To lead in the new lesson. Step3. ic strip 1) Listening to the dialogue between Eddie and Hobo. Then ask some simple questions. To consolidate the colours of a rainbow. Step 6.Language problems 1. sth looks good on sb = sb looks good in sth Eg. You look good in red.= Red looks good on you. 2. would rather … than… Eg. He would rather go the park than go to the cinema at weekends. They would rather have noodles for supper than rice. 3. There is nothing wrong with … =There isn’t anything wrong with … There is something wrong with…. Eg. There is nothing wrong with my bike. = there isn’t anything wrong with my bike.
