It’s LiuXiang . Yao Ming is taller than LiuXiang. 知識(shí)目標(biāo):指導(dǎo)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)人物的特點(diǎn)單詞以及學(xué)習(xí)人物比較的重要句型。本堂課掌握的重點(diǎn)詞匯是outgoing;calm; wild等描述人物性格及比較人物的形容詞和形容詞比較級(jí)句型 能力目標(biāo):培養(yǎng)學(xué)生運(yùn)用形容詞比較級(jí)的口頭表達(dá)能力。 情感目標(biāo)與價(jià)值觀:通過本課的知識(shí)學(xué)習(xí),使學(xué)生在介紹朋友時(shí)要尊重朋友,實(shí)事求是地評(píng)價(jià)自己及朋友,從而更好的珍惜朋友之間真實(shí)而美好的友誼。 [內(nèi)容分析] 本節(jié)課教學(xué)內(nèi)容為新目標(biāo)英語(yǔ)八年級(jí)上冊(cè)第六單元Section A (1a-1c),承接上一單元的邀請(qǐng)?jiān)掝}談?wù)撊宋飩€(gè)性特征和比較人物,學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容主要體現(xiàn)在以下三點(diǎn): 1、復(fù)習(xí),學(xué)習(xí)有關(guān)人物特點(diǎn)的單詞:tall, short, heavy, thin, long hair, short hair,calm, wild, outgoing. 2、學(xué)習(xí)人物比較的重要句型: (1)Yao Ming is taller than Liu Huan. ?。?)Sam has longer hair than Tom. 3、掌握部分形容詞的比較級(jí) ?。劢虒W(xué)重點(diǎn)] 學(xué)生能夠?qū)θ宋锿饷策M(jìn)行描繪,個(gè)性進(jìn)行比較,。 ?。劢虒W(xué)難點(diǎn)] 形容詞比較級(jí)的用法。 ?。劢虒W(xué)方法與教學(xué)手段] 1)Pairwork 2)Listening practice 3)The oral approach 4)The municative approach 5) Question-answer drills. [教學(xué)過程] Step 1: Warming up 1. Greetings 2. Chant Good, better, best, Never let it rest, Till good is better, And better is best. ?。ㄕn前熱身,活躍氣氛,輕松學(xué)習(xí)。) Step 2: Revision and learning Revise the adjectives describing peoples appearance and personalities. Show some photos about famous persons, ask and answer “What does he look like?”to review the words “tall, short, thin, heavy, long hair, short hair”. Then look at the pictures of Zhang Fei and Zhuge Liang to learn the new words “wild, calm, outgoing. ?。ㄍㄟ^觀看潘長(zhǎng)江、劉翔等名人圖片,找出圖中人物不同點(diǎn),復(fù)習(xí)已學(xué)過內(nèi)容,自然延伸到新課學(xué)習(xí),起到承上啟下的作用。) Step 3: The key vocabulary Ask students to open their books and turn to Page 31 , Pay attention to Activity 1a , get students to read the words loudly and match each word with its opposite. For example, tall and short. Ask students to do this activity individually. Then check the answers. ?。ㄔ~匯練習(xí),檢查學(xué)生掌握情況。) Step 4: Presentation 1. Using the pictures to learn the paratives, like: T: What does Liu Xiang look like ? S: He is tall. T: Yao Ming is taller than Liu Xiang. Then talk about picture. Talk about you and you friends. S1: I’m tall. S2: I’m taller than you. Zeng Zhiwei is sorter than Liu Huan. Fei Mao is heavier than Liu Huan. Sun Yanzi is thinner than Zhang Shaohao. etc. 2. They are twins. Tell students that maybe they are having a concert and there are three pairs of twins in it. Read their names to the class. Then say “Sometimes twins look the same. Sometimes they look different.For example:Tara is taller than Tina. Tina is wilder than Tara.Can you find their differences ? Talk about pictures. Now let the students listen to three conversations about the people in the picture. Ask them to listen carefully and number the pairs of twins (1-3) in the picture. Play the tape for the students and ask them to do this activity. The first time, listen and number. The second time,fill in the blank. The third time, check the answers. Show the listening materials, and ask students to read them loudly. Step 6 Pairwork Look at picture of Liu Huan. T: Is that Feimao ? S: No,it isn’t . It’s Liu Huan .Feimao is heavier than Liu Huan . Read toghter,then make up their conversations. Look at pictures, make up conversations,Practise A: Is that … ? B: No, it isn’t .It’s … He /She is …than … Ask a few pairs of students to say one or more of their conversations to the class. For exampie: He is taller than me. He is thinner than me. I am… Who is my friend? Do you know? Then write a passage about you and your friend.
