教學目標:能夠聽、說、認讀以下單詞、短語和句子,熟練運用這些詞句介紹他人的日常生活情況:
動詞短語:begin to work, meet other scientist, have meals in the office
表示動作頻率的副詞:always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never
句子:He usually works in his office.He always has meals in the office.
課前準備:
1.準備本課的
2、學生卡片、教師卡片和錄音磁帶。
2.準備歌曲The more we get together.的錄音磁帶。
3.準備自制卡片和獎勵學生的物品。
4.準備幾張名人照片。
教學步驟與建議:
1.熱身 / 復習(Warming-up / Revision)
1)師生同唱英文歌曲The more we get together,活躍課堂氣氛。
2)開展題目為What do they usually do?的自由討論,出示名人照片,請學生根據(jù)對他們的了解,用本單元所學的句子結構自由發(fā)言。例如:Bill Gates often has meetings.He usually meets sc

2.新課導入(Presentation)
1)教師出示畫有Mr Li生活場景的圖片,請學生在小組內(nèi)用英語進行討論,并為圖片寫英語注解,如begin to work,然后,教師示范朗讀動詞短語,學生跟讀。
2)利用形象的圖表教學頻率副詞,然后找若干名學生談一談Mr Li進行以上活動的頻率。也可以進行問答練習。問答結束后,讓學生把表示頻率的副詞與相應的表示活動的圖片連線。
3)教師拿著圖片,讓學生進行快速反應練習。例如,教師問:What does Mr Li always do? 讓學生快速找出李先生在辦公室吃飯的圖片,指著圖說:He always has m
4、eals in the office.
4)放Just practise部分的錄音,學生看圖聽錄音,模仿跟讀。
5)教師板書本課四會的內(nèi)容,幫助學生口說后練習正確書寫。
3.趣味練習(Practice)
1)各小組確定采訪的名人人選,就采訪時需要問的問題展開討論,并將問題記錄下來。
2)各組展示采訪時需要問的問題,并用英語說一說。
3)由其他組學生模擬扮演名人,接受采訪,采訪組進行記錄。
4)展示本部分教學卡片,介紹活動過程,請學生用英語說一說如何完成采訪任務。
5)播放本課chant錄音,教師通過形體語言幫助學生理解chant的意義,學習輔音字母組合th在單詞中的讀音/ D
5、/。因為漢語中沒有/ D /這個音,所以教師應該多示范含有這個音素的單詞,讓學生觀察老師的口形和舌位。然后,讓學生多聽錄音模仿,直到每個學生都能正確發(fā)出此音為止。再放錄音,學生模仿,有節(jié)奏地跟讀,最后開展說chant比賽。
4. 拓展活動(Additional activities)
1)進行編chant游戲。將學生分組,每組抽取幾張詞組教學卡片,例如:the farmer,go to the cinema,請學生加入表示頻率的副詞,說出一個chant, 例如:The farmer never goes to the cinema, never, never, never.... 如果內(nèi)容
6、正確、發(fā)音準確清晰,該組獲得一個笑臉。比一比哪一組得笑臉最多。
2)挑戰(zhàn)記憶力。上面的游戲結束后,請學生回憶chant內(nèi)容,用本課句子結構進行問答練習,例如:What does the farmer never do?
