教學目標：能夠聽、說、認讀以下單詞、短語和句子，熟練運用這些詞句介紹他人的日常生活情況：
動詞短語：begin to work, meet other scientist, have meals in the office
表示動作頻率的副詞：always, usually, often, sometimes, seldom, never
句子：He usually works in his office．He always has meals in the office．
課前準備：
1．準備本課的
2、學生卡片、教師卡片和錄音磁帶。
2．準備歌曲The more we get together．的錄音磁帶。
3．準備自制卡片和獎勵學生的物品。
4．準備幾張名人照片。
教學步驟與建議：
1．熱身 / 復習（Warming-up / Revision）
1）師生同唱英文歌曲The more we get together，活躍課堂氣氛。
2）開展題目為What do they usually do?的自由討論，出示名人照片，請學生根據(jù)對他們的了解，用本單元所學的句子結構自由發(fā)言。例如：Bill Gates often has meetings．He usually meets sc

2．新課導入（Presentation）
1）教師出示畫有Mr Li生活場景的圖片，請學生在小組內(nèi)用英語進行討論，并為圖片寫英語注解，如begin to work，然后，教師示范朗讀動詞短語，學生跟讀。
2）利用形象的圖表教學頻率副詞，然后找若干名學生談一談Mr Li進行以上活動的頻率。也可以進行問答練習。問答結束后，讓學生把表示頻率的副詞與相應的表示活動的圖片連線。
3）教師拿著圖片，讓學生進行快速反應練習。例如，教師問：What does Mr Li always do? 讓學生快速找出李先生在辦公室吃飯的圖片，指著圖說：He always has m
4、eals in the office．
4）放Just practise部分的錄音，學生看圖聽錄音，模仿跟讀。
5）教師板書本課四會的內(nèi)容，幫助學生口說后練習正確書寫。
3．趣味練習（Practice）
1）各小組確定采訪的名人人選，就采訪時需要問的問題展開討論，并將問題記錄下來。
2）各組展示采訪時需要問的問題，并用英語說一說。
3）由其他組學生模擬扮演名人，接受采訪，采訪組進行記錄。
4）展示本部分教學卡片，介紹活動過程，請學生用英語說一說如何完成采訪任務。
5）播放本課chant錄音，教師通過形體語言幫助學生理解chant的意義，學習輔音字母組合th在單詞中的讀音/ D
5、/。因為漢語中沒有/ D /這個音，所以教師應該多示范含有這個音素的單詞，讓學生觀察老師的口形和舌位。然后，讓學生多聽錄音模仿，直到每個學生都能正確發(fā)出此音為止。再放錄音，學生模仿，有節(jié)奏地跟讀，最后開展說chant比賽。
4. 拓展活動（Additional activities）
1）進行編chant游戲。將學生分組，每組抽取幾張詞組教學卡片，例如：the farmer，go to the cinema，請學生加入表示頻率的副詞，說出一個chant, 例如：The farmer never goes to the cinema, never, never, never.... 如果內(nèi)容
6、正確、發(fā)音準確清晰，該組獲得一個笑臉。比一比哪一組得笑臉最多。
2）挑戰(zhàn)記憶力。上面的游戲結束后，請學生回憶chant內(nèi)容，用本課句子結構進行問答練習，例如：What does the farmer never do?
