To help students know how to cooperate each part of work together. 3. To learn to write a report. Teaching difficult and important point: How to write a report Teaching methods Listening ; petition ;Discussion Teaching aids A blacboard ;Multi-media Teaching procedures: Step 1 Lead in ( about 5 minutes) 1. A quiz about Yangtze River 2. Divide the class into four groups. Then try your best to find some words to describe the Yangtze River as much as possible. The group which has more words will be the winner. 3. We are proud of the great river and enjoy some beautiful pictures . 4. Show some pictures about the destroyed river. Step 2 Learning a text ( about 22 minutes) 1 Listening (about 5 minutes) Scan the text quickly, then divide the whole report into three parts 2 Go through Para 1 quickly and find the gist of the report.( ahout 3 minutes) 3 Read Para2-4 and then answer the questions.( about 5 minutes) What has The Green River Organization done? When was the water and soil preservation set up? What did the water and soil preservation project result in? What has the government done to save white-flag dolphins? 4 Read the last part ( about 3 minutes) What is the good news for the river? 5 Read the text loudly and then do some true or fulse questions.( about 6 minutes) Step 3 Discussing and writing a report ( about 12 minutes) v What else can we do to protect the Yangtze River? v Focus on the pollution problems in the Yangtze River and Beiling River, and then write a report .Pay special attention to the structure of the report. Step 4 Presenting a report( about 5 minutes) Step 5 Homework( about 1 minutes) Based on the mini report, please plete the whole report after class.- 配套講稿:
