第四講 增光添彩的定語從句 定語從句分為限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句,非限制性定語從句和主句或先行詞之間常用逗號隔開。 1.關系代詞引導的定語從句 關系代詞who,whom,whose,that,which,as引導的定語從句是寫作的一大重點,尤其是which和as引導的非限制性定語從句在高考標準范文中更是屢見不鮮。 I live next door to a couple whose children often make a lot of noise. 我住在一對他們的孩子經常吵鬧的夫婦隔壁。 Any student who is interested is wele to participate. 歡迎任何感興趣的學生參加。 To begin with,the theme of the show is Environmental Protection,which will be not only meaningful but also interesting. 首先,展覽的主題是環(huán)境保護,這不僅有意義,但也很有趣。 As one saying goes,“Practice makes perfect”. 正如諺語所說,“熟能生巧”。 2.關系副詞引導的定語從句 關系副詞引導的定語從句是指when,where,why引導的定語從句。 During holiday seasons,I will live in the countryside,where the air is fresh and people are friendly. 在假期,我會住在鄉(xiāng)下,那里空氣新鮮而且人們友好。 I think the reason why you are always angry may be the high pressure of study. 我認為你總是發(fā)脾氣的原因可能是學習上的巨大壓力。 We will put off the picnic in the park until next week,when the weather may be better. 我們將在公園的野營活動推遲到下一星期,那時候天氣可能會好些。 3.“介詞+which/whom”引導的定語從句 Speaking and listening are very important for a language learning,by which you are sure to make great progress. 聽和說對于一門語言的學習非常重要,通過它們你一定會取得很大進步。 Our class also has problems of its own,of which the most obvious one is the students’ laziness. 我們班自身也有問題,其中最明顯的是學生的懶惰。 It makes no difference from ordinary voting events,in which candidates go around to seek supports. 與普通的投票沒有區(qū)別,在普通的投票中候選人到四處去尋求支持。 4.寫好定語從句的三個步驟 [示例] 去海邊度假是個好主意。在那里我們可以享受陽光、藍天和新鮮空氣。 第一步:首先寫出簡單句 It is a good idea to go to the seaside for a holiday. We can enjoy sunshine, blue sky and fresh air there. 第二步:然后找出簡單句中意義上的重疊詞匯: the seaside和there 第三步:最后用相應的關系詞連接 It is a good idea to go to the seaside for a holiday, where we can enjoy sunshine, blue sky and fresh air. [跟 蹤 訓 練] Ⅰ.把下面的句子變成定語從句 1.The girl is spoken highly of.Her position was well-written. The__girl__whose__position__was__well-written__is__spoken__highly__of. 2.Jiuzhaigou is well-known for its beautiful lakes.The water of the lakes is clear and looks beautiful. Jiuzhaigou__is__well-known__for__its__beautiful__lakes,of__which__the__water__is__clear__and__looks__beautiful. 3.People need a place.They can rest and enjoy themselves there. People__need__a__place__where__they__can__rest__and__enjoy__themselves. 4.I get along with others easily.It is especially useful for a volunteer. I__get__along__with__others__easily,which__is__especially__useful__for__a__volunteer. 5.I happened to see your notice.From the notice,I knew you were eager to have a Chinese friend. I__happened__to__see__your__notice,from__which,I__knew__you__were__eager__to__have__a__Chinese__friend. Ⅱ.完成句子 1.I will never forget the days we__spent__in__the__countryside. 我永遠忘不了在農村度過的那段歲月。 2.We visited Tian’anmen Square where__we__met__many__foreigners. 我們參觀了天安門廣場,在那兒我們看到了許多外賓。 3.The prize will go to the writer whose__story__shows__the__most__imagination. 獎金會留給故事情節(jié)最富有想象力的作者。 4.Mr Zhang is the kindest teacher that__I__have__ever__had. 張老師是我曾經遇到的最仁慈的教師。 5.On the other side of the street,where__there__used__to__be__a__playground,now stands a new building—a library. 在街道的另一邊,過去曾是操場,現(xiàn)在蓋起了另一座新建筑——圖書室。 6.It is reported that two schools,both__of__which__are__being__built__in__my__hometown,will open next year. 據(jù)報道,在我家鄉(xiāng)正在建造的兩所學校明年將開放。- 配套講稿:
