Students’ Analysis: Teaching Aids: CAI, cards, pictures, tape. Teaching Procedures: Step 1: Warming up 1 .Greetings. Step 2: Revision and Presentation 1. Revision. Game: quick response. Teacher show the cards of a leader, a hero, a scientist, a brave man, a kind man, a wise man. Ask the students to response quickly. 2. Presentation. The teacher shows the icon of Confucius. And then ask the students “Who was he?” Help the students to answer “He was Confucius.” 3. Ask the students Listen to the tape and read the story and then ask them the two questions as follow. Who was he? Where did he live? 4. Check the answer and then teaching the story. Pay attention to these words Live-lived, teach-taught, write-wrote. Step 3: Practice and Consolidation 1. Listen the story again, and then. read after the tape. And try to retell the story. 2. Ask the students to finish activity3. to do a project.
