Module 9 Friendship 模塊語法專練 whether/if及疑問詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句 1.whether/if引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。 (1)whether/if引導(dǎo)賓語從句時,意為“是否”,表示不確定的概念,常位于ask,see,say,know,find out等詞或短語后面。一般情況下,兩者可互換,在口語中多用if。例如: He asked if/whether they needed some help.他問他們是否需要幫助。 (2)whether和if的區(qū)別。 ①在動詞不定式之前只能用whether。例如: I can’t decide whether to stay.我不能決定是否留下。 ②在固定結(jié)構(gòu)“whether...or not”中,只能用 whether。例如: I want to know whether it’s good news or not.我想知道它是否是個好消息。 ③在介詞后只能用whether。例如: His father is worried about whether he may lose his job.他的父親擔(dān)心他是否會失去工作。 2.疑問詞引導(dǎo)的賓語從句。 (1)由特殊疑問句充當(dāng)賓語從句時,該從句由特殊疑問詞引導(dǎo),此從句要用陳述句的語序。例如: I don’t know when the plane flies.我不知道飛機(jī)什么時候起飛。 (2)當(dāng)賓語從句由連接副詞或代詞when,where,who,why,which,what,whose等引導(dǎo)時,有時可以改為由“疑問詞+動詞不定式”構(gòu)成的不定式短語,使賓語從句轉(zhuǎn)化為簡單句。但前提是主句的主語與從句的主語一致或主句的賓語是從句的主語。例如: Can you tell me how I can get to the bus stop? →Can you tell me how to get to the bus stop?你能告訴我怎樣去公交車站嗎?
