Unit3 Festivals教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)
一、教學(xué)目標(biāo)
1. 能在老師指導(dǎo)下,聽(tīng)懂、理解、朗讀小短文并完成相關(guān)練習(xí)。
2. 能在圖片的提示下聽(tīng)懂、理解故事。
3. 能理解并學(xué)唱歌曲Halloween song.
4. 能通過(guò)閱讀知曉萬(wàn)圣節(jié)、感恩節(jié)等國(guó)外節(jié)日的相關(guān)習(xí)俗,并了解中西方文化
差異。
二、教學(xué)建議
1. Read the texts about festivals. Then listen and repeat.讀一讀, 聽(tīng)一聽(tīng),說(shuō)一說(shuō)。
Step l 老師呈現(xiàn)不同節(jié)日?qǐng)D片,并提問(wèn):What festival is it? When is it? What do
we often do on this day?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生說(shuō)出對(duì)不同節(jié)日的了解。
Step 2 學(xué)生打開(kāi)課本到第20頁(yè),自主閱讀兩段短文,通過(guò)回答問(wèn)題What festivals are they?初步了解文章大意。
Step 3老師提問(wèn)What do you know about Mid-Autumn Festival and Thanksgiving from the passage? 學(xué)生再次閱讀短文,找出相關(guān)信息回答問(wèn)題,進(jìn)一步理解短文內(nèi)容。
Step 4老師播放錄音,學(xué)生逐句跟讀,借助圖片,學(xué)習(xí)get together, moon cake,
turkey等生詞和短語(yǔ)。
Step 5學(xué)生采用不同形式朗讀短文,如全班讀、分組讀、分段讀等。
Step 6老師分別呈現(xiàn)中秋節(jié)和感恩節(jié)的圖片,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生描述,并選出幾人進(jìn)行展示,老師給予指導(dǎo)和評(píng)價(jià)。
Step 7老師示范描述其他節(jié)日,其余節(jié)日的名稱(chēng),全班開(kāi)展游戲。

Mid-Autumn Festival
The 15th day of the Chinese lunar August is a very important festival in China.
It’s Mid-Autumn Festival. On this day, the moon is full and bright. Families get together and eat moon cakes. People far from home look up at the moon and think about their families.
Thanksgiving
The fourth Thursday in November is a holiday in the USA. It Thanksgiving.
On this day, families get together and have a big dinner. People usually eat turkey, sweet potatoes and other vegetables. Many people will meet in the streets and enjoy their holiday together. Everybody has fun!
2. Read the story and find out more about Thanksgiving.讀一讀,找一找。
Step l 學(xué)生打開(kāi)課本到第21頁(yè),仔細(xì)觀察圖片說(shuō)出節(jié)日的名稱(chēng),并根據(jù)自己所學(xué)知識(shí)談?wù)劯卸鞴?jié)。
Step 2 老師要求學(xué)生通過(guò)自主閱讀,找出更多感恩節(jié)的相關(guān)信息,并在全班匯報(bào)交流,了解感恩節(jié)的來(lái)歷。
Step 3 播放錄音,學(xué)生逐句跟讀,并適時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)native, build, hunt, wild turkey, plant corn, invite等相關(guān)內(nèi)容。
Step 4 學(xué)生采用不同形式朗讀故事,如全班讀、分組讀、男女生讀等。
Step 5 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生描述感恩節(jié)的來(lái)歷及習(xí)俗,并全班展示匯報(bào),老師給予指導(dǎo)與評(píng)價(jià)。

It is 1620. The Mayflower lands in America. The ship comes from England. The People on the Mayflower are looking for a new home. It is winter. The people from England are cold and hungry. Native Americans help them to build houses. They show them how to hunt for wild turkey. They show them how to catch fish. Later, when it warm again, they show them how to plant corn. The people want to thank the Native Americans and have a big party. They invite the Native Americans. They call their party Thanksgiving.

Step 6 采取不同形式朗讀短文,如全班讀、分小組讀、男女生讀等。
Step 7 老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生根據(jù)所學(xué)內(nèi)容描述萬(wàn)圣節(jié)的相關(guān)習(xí)俗,并請(qǐng)2-3名學(xué)生匯報(bào),老師給予指導(dǎo)與評(píng)價(jià)。

On 31st October, children in Britain and the USA dress up as witches, monsters or ghosts. They go from house to house and ring the doorbell. When the door opens, they call out, "Trick or treat.”
Most people give the children a treat, often chocolates or other sweets.
Some people don’t give the children anything. Then the children play a trick. They come back, ring the doorbell again and run away.

Step 4學(xué)生再次演唱歌曲,可采用多種形式,如師生對(duì)唱、男女生對(duì)唱、分組對(duì) 唱等。
Step 5老師示范,引導(dǎo)學(xué)生創(chuàng)編新歌曲,談?wù)勂渌墓?jié)日,并選出2-3組進(jìn)行展示,老師給予指導(dǎo)和評(píng)價(jià)。

Step 2學(xué)生打開(kāi)課本,小組分角色朗讀圖片1-5,通過(guò)回答問(wèn)題:What do they get? What are they doing?了解故事起因。
Step 3 學(xué)生聽(tīng)圖片6~9的錄音,回答問(wèn)題:What do the children find at Mr Pearson’s house? 了解故事的發(fā)展,并適時(shí)學(xué)習(xí)strange,ladder等詞語(yǔ)。老師再次播放上述部分錄音,學(xué)生逐句跟讀,模仿錄音中的語(yǔ)音、語(yǔ)調(diào)。
Step 4 學(xué)生帶著問(wèn)題How do they help Mr Pearson? 自由朗讀圖片10-18,了解故事的結(jié)局,老師隨后繼續(xù)播放錄音,請(qǐng)學(xué)生有感情地跟讀,老師適時(shí)教育學(xué)生遇事要冷靜機(jī)智地想辦法解決。
Step 5 全班采取多種形式朗讀故事,如全班讀、分角色讀等。
Step 6 老師引導(dǎo)學(xué)生嘗試表演故事,并選出2-3組進(jìn)行展示,老師適時(shí)給予指導(dǎo)和評(píng)價(jià)。

Policeman: Police! Come down!
Mr Pearson: Good evening, officer! I left my key in the house and locked myself out.
: Oh, it’s Mr Pearson!
Policeman: Well done, children.
Mr Pearson: Hello, detectives. Have a treat.
Together: Thank you, Mr Pearson.
