(not) to do sth. “提醒（警告）某人（不要）做某事”。如： I warn you not to skate on such thin ice. 3) warn sb. that... “提醒（警告）某人……”。如： The whistle warned vistors that the ship was ready to sail. 4) warn sb. against sth. / doing sth. “提醒（警告）某人不要做某事”。如： We warned him against doing silly things.
